Billy is a lifelong ARFID patient, originally diagnosed with EDNOS as a teenager before being reclassified with ARFID in 2020 as an adult. He supports ARFID Connect, a Cardiff University research project, as part of the lived experience team and sits on the ARFID Awareness adult committee. Billy is active online, sharing experiences in ARFID support groups and speaking directly with children, parents, and carers facing restrictive eating issues. Outside of advocacy, he works as the Data and Insight Manager for Brighton and Hove Albion Foundation, and holds an MSc in Policy Analytics from the University of Exeter.
