Colette works as a clinical lead in the Community Outreach & Support Team (COAST-ED) within the Cornwall Eating Disorder Service (CYPEDS). With 17 years of dedicated experience in the specialism, she has excelled in various roles, from ward nurse to service manager, working with both children and adults. Colette is fiercely committed to developing services that effectively meet the needs of young people and their families, with a strong emphasis on preventing hospital admissions. Her unwavering passion drove the successful creation and implementation of COAST-ED, which is already providing high-quality, responsive care, significantly reducing paediatric and tier 4 admissions. Colette is dedicated to enhancing understanding in her specialism and actively delivers training to non-statutory organisations, as well as on behalf of BEAT. Additionally, she serves as a specialist advisor to the CQC.
