Lydia is an occupational therapist who has worked with adults with eating disorders since 2011. She began her career in the field in Bristol in 2011 when she coordinated a day therapy service as well as providing occupational therapy and care coordination to adults in both the community and inpatient service. In 2017, she was Clinical Manager for the early intervention (FREED) service, a project run in conjunction with Bristol University Student Health Service. In 2018 Lydia relocated back to her home county of Cornwall and oversaw the adult eating disorder service in Plymouth. From 2019-2023 she worked as Professional Lead Occupational Therapist for Inpatient, crisis and specialist services for Cornwall Foundation Trust. Lydia’s current role is Clinical Lead for the Individual Pathway with the Children and Young People Eating Disorder Service, and is Trustee for Staff and Student Health and wellbeing for a local Multi-Academy Trust.
