Georgios (George) Paslakis (he/him), MD, PhD, MBA, is professor for psychosomatic medicine and director of the Clinic for Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy at the Ruhr-University Bochum, Campus East-Westphalia, Germany. He is certified as a specialist in psychiatry and psychosomatic medicine and both a cognitive-behavioral as well as psychodynamic therapist. In addition to providing patient care, he is an active researcher and has published academic papers on eating disorders, psychotherapy outcomes, and mental health in diverse populations.
