Laura is a final year PhD student in the department of Clinical, Educational and Health Psychology at UCL. Laura is interested in selective eating behaviours and complex patterns of food refusal and/or restriction and in particular, Laura’s research is focused on better characterising and formulating avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID). Drawing on findings from epidemiology, systematic reviews and patient perspectives, using both clinical and non-clinical data, Laura aims to contribute to the ARFID evidence-base to work towards effectively treating the heterogeneous presentations of this disorder.
